More than I bargained for

Today I walked to the local Salvation Army thrift store with a specific purpose. Well, two.
I required;
  1. A new potato masher (as Haki has been complaining about the quality of our current, "bendable" masher), and
  2. A set of coasters (as Haki has been placing his glasses and mugs on the furnished apartment's wooden coffee table....coaster-less. /mock gasp).
And these things were to be purchased for no more than $4.98.

Behold, success:

...and also...the other stuff. It was $3.00 to fill a bag...what's a girl to do?

I felt these little retro high-tops, with their zero-wear and fluro-awesomeness, deserved their own close-up.

And $1.98 to spare. Yesah.
