Super-easy Super-quick "Rolls"

This is the second time I've served these with dinner, and I'm likin' them. They're called "rolls" according to their recipe, but they're a lot more like scones (or biscuits, for you Americans).

Ingredients (only 3!)

1 cup self-rising flour
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (160 degrees C in a fan-forced oven). Grease 5 cups of a regular muffin pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, milk, and mayonnaise. Spoon into the 5 prepared muffin cups.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes.

Throw in some cheese or spice to give your rolls some flavour, or keep them plain for dipping, as we do.

Thanks for this recipe, Miss Betty, even if mine don't look like yours.
