Alphapegs

Another Pinterest-inspired mini-project from our house:

I love that I already had everything I needed for this, and how many ways we can play and learn with the Alphapegs!  Esky can order the entire 26, fill in gaps I've created, fix errors I've rigged...all the while working on her fine motor skills.

I wrote directly onto the wooden pegs in capitals on one side and lower case letters on the other -- because I like the idea of sorting those too.  Easy, cheap and reusable -- win.

P.S.  Like how George is "helping" but then is eventually cast aside as she gets down to business? /snort  I do.

Original pin here.

I remember these from my visit. Esky is such bright little button.

Also, beware of Pinterest, it is as addicting as crack cocaine. I don't know that for a fact because I've never tried crack but from comments I have heard, and my own experience Pinterest is very, very, addictive.
