...I called them to learn that my thyroid is throwing a hissy fit. (Did you call this, North?)
Tsk tsk, butterfly gland. First, you sound like you're responsible for producing the sensation of excitement, but then second, re-heeally you're in the business of breaking down and multiplying normal mamma-poopedness by 63. Rude.
Kind of a birthday present, right? I mean having progress towards a diagnosis...not the magnified poopedness.
On my birthday, I like to give presents to other people. Today, those other people are all of you. I've been saving this from a few weeks ago...
Here is a picture of our family (sans photo-taker = moi) approximatley 2 minutes after our nightly Family Prayer and after a single lullaby.
- Haki is asleep.
- Two girls are not.
- If this photo could talk, it would snore...like a hibernating bear.
- I need to work on my lullabies.

3 things: firstly I really hope that a diagnosis means a solution and improvement aren't far away for you. Secondly, oh happy day (again!) to you. Thirdly, that photo is H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S, really Haki can fall asleep that quickly? I am super impressed. I could never do it!

So very grateful we (YOU) are figuring out what is going on with your cute little body. Love Haki! We can do a count down for Adam falling asleep. Usually I can start at 3... even with 3 kids jumping over, around and on him. Funny Daddies!! Love you so much!

Haaaaaaahahaha I love that Haki is the only one not immune to your lullaby.
And wish I could claim that I was some sort of medical genius but I think it was another Nikki. Smart woman, she is. Hopefully the results mean that they can do something now - you've been dealing with this for ages!

I hope you had a special birthday! I too was diagnosed with a thyroid problem during my second pregnancy. Very frustrating, but not too much of a drama to treat. I haven't had a problem with it for nearly five years now. God is so good! By the way I love that photo! Hilarious!!
