I regularly referenced Haki's absence while he was travelling (okay, living away, on site) for work.
I feel cause to pause, and take stock of the tremendous blessing it is to have my husband at home again.
There is more peaceful sleep, shared laughter, and spontaneous dancing in our home.
There's less to carry. Always.
There's wholeness.
There is handsome.
There also seems to be serious manipulations of basic math, with one quarter of our contigent's return doubling the laundry volume and quadrupling the dishes (as well as adding considerable displacement to both equations)...
...but nonetheless, there is more love.
Things are as they should be. And I am grateful.
P.S. Family trip to the museum; Ivy's turn topside.

Well that explains a long silence. Yay for you.
Love this. My hubby is away too (In China of all places for 10 days) and this is exactly what it is like on their return. You have captured it in words brilliantly. x
I can't even imagine not having Mr.C around... I don't know how you did it! Good reminder to not take him for granted though - thank you!
